@sean@scoat.es I'm pretty sure it is no more. Twas an improbable mix of machine parts, motors, LEDs and basic hardware. Survived on prime Queen St retail until mid 2010s

@anthill@mstdn.ca @sean@scoat.es Active Surplus was great in the 80s and 90s, occupying a large amount of street-level space. I guess the downsizing and move upstairs happened in the early 2000s. Supremetronic used to be a few doors down from Active Surplus on Queen Street. You can still see their sign in older Google Streetview imagery.
