If I made a Federated Search system, and it required 10 gigabytes on a server and 1 gb on a PC using it (caches). Would you host this? Would you use it?

I want to clarify something. I'm not trying to allow people to search through Fedi content, though I guess that would be possible. I'm trying to use AP to replace search engine's with FOAF bookmarking of websites.
