So canon print app doesn’t support my cheap not-WiFi scanner, but it would be *really great* if I could scan images via my iPad. I was wondering if anyone had a good workaround?
iPad mini w USB-C to Canon LiDE 300 w mini USB. It lights up and wiggles the light bar when I plug it in so there’s def some power / connection.

@moss@kind.social although power is flowing, the iOS device will not know how to control the scanner and interpret it’s data over this connection. It’s not a supported use-case for iOS. Your best bet would be to connect the scanner to a networked PC/Mac host that can support it, and share the printer with AirSane https://github.com/SimulPiscator/AirSane
