@josey@gamepad.club CachyOS has been good for me as far as gaming is concerned. No idea how it goes with NVidia though as I changed to an AMD VGA a while ago when upgrading my computer and switching distros after that.

@josey@gamepad.club nobara let's you select which gpu you have and has an nvidia option, alternatively, alternatively i am currently having a real good time with cachyOS and niri as the wm

@josey@gamepad.club I just switched from PopOS to Debian Trixie and am using the commercial drivers from NVIDIA. System is stable. Most of my apps are Flatpaks. I don't game much, so no real insight on that front.

@josey@gamepad.club I swapped from PopOS to EndeavourOS in October or so, because I couldn't get the necessary newer packages working for something I don't remember, needed newer Debian version. My main reasons for the choice: Nvidia support, and Arch based - the knowledge helps better understanding of SteamOS on my SteamDeck and Steam Frame if I manage to get my hands on one. Works flawlessly, small con is that system updates are handled through command line (shortcut to the script in the start menu).
