@chronovore@infosec.exchange I think that Meta is only making these glasses because they are aiming for wide-scale, ubiquitous use among ordinary consumers. If they could only make this product as an aid for low-vision users, they would stop making it immediately because that's not where the profits are.

@evacide@hachyderm.io agreed - they are not marketing this as an accessibility tool. And if it was, I would ask it be open sourced/licensed to lower barriers to actual accessibility integration.
