I think one of the reasons we have a reputation for restrictive black and white thinking, is that when we consider something, we really consider it, every aspect and nuance. So once we have come to a conclusion, it's no easy thing providing the information to change it.
Also, so much of what we do is done to accommodate our lives. That you don't understand that, or the reasons why we have no intention of changing what works, is a you thing and not a stubbornness and being restricted thing.

@pathfinder@beige.party @KaCi@autistics.life @autistics@fedigroups.social Example of this in a store today. Very nice T- shirts on offer with sign saying £20 for two. Wife suggests I might like them. I did. Took the last two in my size. At the till, they weren't identical but looked it. One was £12 and would qualify two for £20, except there was only one. Other was £10. So the two would cost £22. No thanks. Not because of the money but I couldn't understand how they made the offer when they didn't have the product. My mind stuck there.
