Overall, I think we can offer you managed hosting using our tested configuration. 132 GB SQL is really a lot. Our basic offer is about 40€ per month, but I expected database to be much smaller, this implies really lot of RAM required to run the VPS. I must ask my fellow admin about pricing of extra resources. Can I ask how big is size of SQL backup? (compressed, as .tar.gz) I have tested tooctl with undocumented parameters to clean old statuses without local interactions (it is really a must, to prevent database from growing). It can be set up to clean eg. statuses older than 365 days, if there were no interactions by local users (nobody doomscrolls more than cca 1 week in the past anyway...) On the other hand, we have Elasticsearch tested and running (on separate VPS, for stability). And yes, we offer managed VPS, we would handle Mastodon upgrades. We are in EU and we run all our stack including HW (we are local ISP, primarily)
