Some might not realize how HUGE this announcement is for JWs. With a wave of the hand, their Governing Body has reversed course on a position that has led to untold deaths — not to mention families torn apart through disfellowshipping members who chose life over the ban. Years ago, ex-JW David Reed published a book titled, "Worse Than Waco," where he attempted to estimate the loss of life due to this policy. This "new light" from the Watchtower Society is basically a big "Oops!" on their part. https://www.friendlyatheist.com/p/jehovahs-witnesses-just-gutted-their?publication_id=95153&post_id=216404861&isFreemail=true&r=12mgem&triedRedirect=true
