I think gen ai/LLMs are supposed to make us give up on creating and FLOSS. If there is no community building things the only place you could get it from is the oligarchs.

@otfrom@functional.cafe have the feeling, there'll arise the need for private git repos akin to private trackers in the torrent scene, but instead of trying to hide from copyright trolls and such, human made code needs to be protected from llm crawlers and being slopped up into the newest model™. so basically closed source software but like for different reasons
