ah yes 2014 is so nostalgic and carefree apparently; yet i remember witnessing a gigantic chunk of the internet being colonized and ruined, by reactionaries and 4channers when gamergate started
sorry just being salty for not reason.
you're not a bad person, just for feeling nostalgic for a past period of your life that felt a lot more calm and carefree..
it's just idk.. as a horribly traumatized girl who survived at least 10 different kinds of abuse, it's really hard for me to feel nostalgic about my childhood y'know.. :c

@snugglybun@void.lgbt I personally don’t feel nostalgic for the time, but the things I was able to still do during that time. Niche shops, small businesses, weird interests and so much easier to socialize for me than now. I think we can see the good in the past, while acknowledging how horrible the surrounding environment was.
