Cool to see Malibu, Santa Monica, and Venice from above, my childhood playground. There's some weird geology north of LA, folded sediments. I'll have to look it up. The place we lived in the desert for a couple of years in the late 60's is unrecognizable, by me, anyway. 70's F here. Headed someplace a teeny bit warmer 🌴🐠🍹🥭🏝 Dreading the long flight, maybe I can sleep. I swore I'd never do it again, but 🤷‍♂️ LAX is just bigger, no memories of it from gate 69A. Could be anywhere.
