Past few days I’ve been trying out #Darktable and I think it’s finally clicked for me, after watching a few tutorials on YouTube.
I’ll still be sticking with #CaptureOne as my primary library and editing software, because it’s still far easier and quicker for me as I’ve been using for 10 years. But, I’ll keep Darktable around for when the need arises. (1/2)

Somewhat coincidentally, one of those needs is processing scans of film negatives. It can be done in Capture One, but contrary to what I said above, it’s actually quicker and easier in Darktable with its dedicated module for negative conversion. Oh and Darktable does a MUCH better job than C1 with first-gen #Fujifilm X100 Raw files, for some reason. (2/2)
