@darwinwoodka@mastodon.social Yes, lots of behind-the-scenes pressuring, I suspect, reporting, surveiling, possibly threatening lawsuits. I think there's fear in some powerful sectors that if the Republicans are not boosted in the lead up to the election, they'll get a big drubbing. And that fear translates into increased determination to try to control coversations and information sharing on social media.
