We went down for lunch at Nepenthe in #BigSur today and got a great air show from the helicopters working the #TimberFire. There was a blackhawk, a Chinook, and three sky cranes at one point. We saw what looked like a huey go over with people aboard, too.
If you're in the area and want to see fire helicopters in action, now is the time to go and the deck at Nepenthe is the best view.
