@overcastfm@mastodon.social Looking at a transcript today, it had a completely different ad break transcribed than what I was hearing in the episode. And because the ad break was longer, the transcript got out of sync with the audio for the rest of the episode. I have a theory. The ad I heard was for the podcast network itself, not a commercial product. My guess is that it’s using location for the ads. Because I’m in Japan, it didn’t do a DAI and did the network ad instead.
