@geonz@mathstodon.xyz @Blort@social.tchncs.de my point here is less about the broad strokes of having the bad guy be capitalism and more about the specific mechanisms, the way they talk about the addictive substance, etc.

Especially since -- from what I saw jumping in halfway through -- there were more parallels to tobacco and junk food than to The Addictive Drugs We LEarned About In Health/PE. (Snork, I may have to sneak back and watch the first parts oh, while 'm cleaning something...)
