I'm tempted to do the Dublin Mountains Way over several days. Has anyone done it, is there accomodation “along the way”. Is it worth it? Or rubbish?
I'll be in Ireland for Christmas, so I'm tempted to do it just before that. Is that sensible? It would be convient with travel plans. I'm aware of short days, and possibility of shite weather.

@ebel@moytura.org Haven't done it as a big trip, but I have gone along a few of the trails and they're lovely. There are definitely places to stay along the way, the only issue is that some of them may only be open seasonally so December may be a bit trickier. You're never too far from Dublin itself and there are some busses that run near the route in case the weather gets really bad and you have to bail.
