After an aquatic opening sequence, a boat disembarks and we meet our main characters in the form of a party of people chilling by the beach, half men and half women.
Our boy characters include a marine biologist guy with a bump on his head, who is here to study the ocean and make sexist comments, a man with a red striped shirt, whose job is to make different sexist comments and a quiet Igor like fellow whose job is to attract the ladies by not making sexist comments.

After the girl characters wander off, a sheriff rolls up in his police boat to talk to the head bump guy, who had some equipment stolen earlier (probably the radio we saw sabotaged earlier). The sheriff tells the dudes that he found a dead guy in the water and asks headbump guy to look at the dead guy because he's a marine biologist, and dead humans are basically dead fish that have tricked themselves into walking. #monsterdon #StingOfDeath
