@thomasfuchs I live on Vancouver island, famous for temperate climates as such things exist in Canada. In the last week of June 2021 we had a “heat dome” with temperatures 20min degrees higher than normal in most places. For a day a little town in the interior of BC was the hottest place on earth, months after nearly being washed away in record setting floods. We didn’t have AC or central heat. We’re also quarantining after an international work trip. The thermometer in the sun where our front is hit over 60c multiple times. 25deg here is a heat wave. We are doomed.
