Good reporting again by APN https://apnews.com/article/climate-change-nepal-flash-floods-7262dac22e31258955efa5c28c8fe917 Draws the climate connection to other recent events in the same region, and to the Himalaya as a whole where #glacier melt has doubled since 2000. Many hydro power plants are located in the mountains, in areas now especially vulnerable to rockslides and glacial lake outbursts. Risk of dam collapse increases, threatening communities downriver, and electricity generation counting on hydro output is no longer a viable grid strategy. All thanks to Exxon's lies and our corrupt politicians and media. #Tibet #Nepal #Flashflood #Mudslide #ClimateChange
