Exactly one year ago today, a feral cat who liked to hang out in our back yard allowed me to pat him on the head for the first time. I got a video of this moment! He seemed to like it. We got to this point over a few months, from him running away instantly when he saw us, to hissing at us, to accepting food, to this. Over the last year, he's learned to meow and purr (did neither for a looong time) and just this week he jumped on my desk while I was working for the first time. This is Meech.
