I'm encouraged by what I see as 4 things that have massive popular support going into the US Midterms. Candidates who embrace this progressive wave will outperform. 1) Free Palestine. People hate genocide, and the public backlash to supporters like Kraft and the complicit is impressive. Go Ms Rachel! Losing the 100 Billion+ war on Iran is only amplifying the anti-violence sentiment. https://iranwarcost.watson.brown.edu 2) Stop the Billionaires. This is embodied by the Angie Nixon campaign, the ways she wins with much less money, and unequivocally supports the working class. This is power. 3) Trans rights are human rights. Abdul El-Sayed gets it when he explains that decisions about healthcare for trans or any people should be made by patients, their doctors and their families. 4) Backlash against A.I. . People despise AI slop and are punishing businesses that promote it. Also, people are calling out the 'AI Doomers' and seeing through that rouse to keep the rich in control.
