It didn’t go haywire. At all. It did exactly what it was supposed to do, which is parrot what the applicant said, after LLM grammar collection, to make sure the bot heard it right. The fact that these bots are bonkers dumb is a fact, but it didn’t “go haywire”.
I’m still in utter shock that companies use this shit. Human resources, ffs. Human.

We don’t put oil in charge of oil resources, we don’t put gold in charge of gold resources, we don’t put water in charge of water resources, so why would humans be in charge of human resources?
