You sound so sure of our problems...but you're assessmentis incorrect.
I suggest you read up about the political situation here...it has very little to do with the out of date monarchy.
And no one suggested the US is a solution.

"increasingly of the opinion" is a far cry from "sure". All I know for sure is you got some real problems. Professor Jiang did a really interesting lecture about Canada's situation something like a week ago. The City of London hypothesis is his, and I find it reasonably compelling. He's certainly a very well informed person - though it's important to understand that he is someone who is willing to try out a hypothesis and be wrong - so when he says something, that doesn't mean he BELIEVES it...
