Opened Disney+ to look at plans and the big number already made me cringe. CHF 17.90 a month for Premium. Then I read the grey text underneath. That is the discounted price, for six months only. After that Premium becomes CHF 23.40 a month, Standard goes from 13.90 to 16.90, and even the plan with ads climbs from 8.90 to 9.90. So the headline price is not the price. The real one sits in small print right below the button, where they clearly hope nobody looks. Premium at full price is 280.80 a year for one streaming service. I am not angry that streaming got expensive. I am angry that they show me the bait in large type and the bill in footnote size, as if I would not notice. I noticed, Disney. That's just insane. #Disney #DisneyPlus #Streaming #DarkPatterns #Switzerland
