It's Bandcamp Friday, which means all the proceeds for each sale goes directgly to the artist! This Friday, I'm proud to present my 2nd fulllength album I made back in 2006, Phoenix Door . You know of Black, queer, alt-folk singer/songwriters now, but imagine doing that in the 90s - 2000s? Unheard of! Yet, I did it, and I like the result to this day. This album is way diferent than my current work. This is definitely in the alt-folk, singer/songwriter vein. Nevertheless, this is where I truly began doing more intense multi-tracking, playing every instrument and being true to what the each of these songs ought to sound like. If you like OG singer/songwriter music, alt-folk, adult alternative, (imagine a band made up of Jill Sobule, John Hiatt, Donnie Hathaway and Sly Stone) then please check it out and share it with your friends! #indie #music #diy #alt #folk #bandcamp #BandcampFriday https://incrediblealibi.bandcamp.com/album/phoenix-door
