Sorry for that. I'm afraid, to spoil the fun, I was very aware of the allegory and was attempting some very light irony that seemed to be missed. But, when all is said and done, I know the rules ofthe internet. I should have put a /s or some sort of emoji to illustrate my feelings, and I should have realised that the bad-faith brigade would assume it was a face-value response. Im not going to delete the tweet or anything, people are enjoying themselves and who amIget in the way ofthat. And for a little context, Im a 44 year old who is pretty much in love with pre-1990 cinema, especially the first wave of movie brats. Im actually NOT a huge Star Wars fan, but Im very aware ofthe stories behind making it, since Tve heavily studied the story of American Zoetrope and the personalities that encircled it. And, yes, as someone pointed out, lam from Northern Ireland, and while you would think that would give me a heightened awareness of querrilla warfare, it's mostiy NOT jungle and swamp here, despite what the postcards would imply. Fr? I always had the impression that the Empire was somewhat inspired by Nazi Germany and the rebels were the resistance. Some of the helmets imperials wear in SW are kinda sus.
