@MaryAustinBooks@mstdn.social @futurebird@sauropods.win idk about "everybody agrees" because I think that in WoT especially the men are just insufferable, while I really liked the female characters most of the time (when they weren't busy doing their fair share of nonsense too).

@IngaLovinde@embracing.space @futurebird@sauropods.win What strikes me as so bizarre in that series is there isn't one person who relates to the opposite sex comfortably, with empathy and humor. It's okay to have or two characters who can't have good relationships. That's life. But when every character operates only with manipulation or even force, something is wrong with the author.
