@fanf@mendeddrum.org i learned this in the USAF. very short summary and a simple yes/no question on the front page got what you wanted vastly more often. lots of stuff on 2nd and subsequent pages so it passed the "heavy enough to seem like they did the research so i don't have to" test but make the front page simple. never heard it as BLUF though.
