Authoritarians always hate the power of art. Art is cultural and societal expression writ large. Art is what that society is thinking about and the feelings around it. Documentaries are so valuable because they are a snapshot into what is on everyone’s mind and how we think about.
NAZA is the average Israel learning their actions have gone too far. To see NAZA and hear the words of the people taking the actions that take the lives of others is to know the brutal reality of what is happening. This is the kind of thing that will cause questions about what’s actually happening by their supporters. And the people in power do not want to have to defend their actions. They want to continue without any attention towards them. NAZA will have people asking “Who are these people that want to massacre in secret?”
I can’t wait to see it.

@ChicoSuave@lemmy.world All this information was already known and published in Israel in 2024. The people in power in Israel are proud of what they're doing and say out loud what their actions are on X and on national TV. Nobody in Israel is doing this genocide in secret. @Tadeusz@szmer.info @palestine

Nah this movie is for people outside of Israel. The average Israeli knows and supports it.
