it just blows my mind that they got this huge, complex tactical game where it turns out all magic is really technology made via genetic engineering, where all the fantasy races are post-apoc descendents of freed slaves, and you eventually got to find this out after being told essentially, verifiably false religious myths, and for the english release said 'nah, this religion needs to be true, cut all that shit out'. omg so emblematic of US culture.
