I think they do require some training to use, so you would maybe need to allow some time for practising?
I also really don't want to be giving money to arms manufacturers.
Or police who apparently have been quietly reselling weapons that were meant to be destroyed.

@celesteh practice is best done ahead of owning a gun, not after. either way the point of this statement is, unless you're really sure you're gonna use a gun soon, you shouldn't be getting a gun.
