Hey. #3goodthings 1. Dad got through his toe surgery well. He has an angiogram set for his legs tomorrow as they're fully blocked, which wouldn't have been found if he hadn't gone through the hospital intake rigamarole. 2. Got some cool movies in the mail today. I haven't been sharing hauls with you for a week but you're about to get slammed. This one includes an Assayas film, six Zatoichi the Blind Swordsman films, and Samurai II: Duel at Ichijoji Temple, all on DVD, the last one Criterion. I'm watching Demonlover (2002), directed by Olivier Assayas, first. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Demonlover 3. Second, I plan to watch Samurai II (1955), directed by Hiroshi Inagaki. I had the other two in the series but for some reason didn't have this one. This whole set came from an eBay purchase. #stoked https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Samurai_II:_Duel_at_Ichijoji_Temple So you can read all about it. #film #physicalmedia
