The AfD’s lead candidate in Saxony-Anhalt publicly thanked Elon Musk for his support in the election and welcomed further "strong and constructive cooperation." This should prompt serious scrutiny of foreign influence on German elections, particularly when that influence comes from someone who controls a major communications platform with hundreds of millions of users.
