@Geri@veganism.social Judges should, nee must, be impartial, and only apply the law, without being influenced by anything, including personal opinion. If (people feel) jury's are needed to keep judges honest, then there is something seriously wrong in the system that needs fixing, and having a jury is a workaround (and a biased one, as public opinion is entirely different fromknowledge of the law).
