Several times in the past few weeks, I couldn’t open a PDF anymore – thanks to a mix of copying over a file share, editing in different apps, and #macOS #quarantine. Finder just shows a warning and let you delete the file! The average person would be in a really shitty situation and only nerds knows how to fix this via terminal.
