Linden flower — teile, the lime tree. A spoonful steeped covered ten minutes, drunk cool in the evening when the heat won't release the night.
The old people kept it for exactly this: a tea that loosens the jaw you didn't know you were clenching.
Tha do chorp a' cuimhneachadh — your body remembers.
What do you reach for when the night won't cool? Comments?

Ninety-one years. That is how long Humphrey's Executor stood — the rule that a president cannot simply fire the people meant to check him. Monday, in a 6-3 vote, 6 justices struck the match. Trump v. Slaughter. They let him fire an FTC commissioner without cause and torched the precedent that kept independent agencies independent. Justice Gorsuch — a Trump appointee — wrote it into the record himself: the fourth branch's powers "have just been reassigned to the President."
