@Nead@social.vivaldi.net I mean, it's tough, because it has been a lot of my life. But it's also tough because it's a naturally hierarchical thing, and if I'm calling someplace 25 minutes away that's different from two hours in traffic to get there, and calling for clubs isn't enough money to make it worth it on its own.
I may get as much joy from just using my voice to lead a singing circle in my neighborhood, there's likely to be more sense of hanging with peers in that.

@Nead@social.vivaldi.net (and the club I currently call regularly for is gonna fold sometime mid next year, just looking at the slope of their bank account balance. There are two other clubs that would *love* to have me weekly, but... especially since my wife has kinda burned out on square dancing so it's not like we're hanging out in those circles otherwise.)
