@edsuom@hachyderm.io thank you Ed. It's been six years of Long Covid for me now, and honestly am SO much better than i was in 2020-2021 which I spent nearly all of in bed, with various inflammation-caused infections. Some people like me seem not to recover from this thing, but we can learn to manage it better. 🤍

@edsuom@hachyderm.io As another person with Long Covid, (5 years now) it's a challenge in so many ways beyond simple health. Perception is a big one...people see me in public and assume everything is great. They never see the full day of recovery needed every time I go out. And so on. And it's different for every one of us afflicted with it. People struggle understanding things they can't categorize, so the perception problem is deep.
