a very minor bitch about job hunting:
I really wish that 'direct to consumer' sales companies were just flat out made illegal.
Some of them are better than others, but a majority of them are just straight up pyramid schemes preying on young people desperate for work. I'd kinda hoped they'd not be a thing here but I hoped far too much.

in other news, I just applied for Big Finish's marketing position they're hiring for. I don't think my chances are high, but working for them would be a dream. cross your fingers, y'all.
