Here's the lesson folks will have to learn forever and ever I suppose: you can't coalition build with bigots. There will never be enough bigots and there will always be too many scapegoats. You certainly will never build a coalition by sacrificing scapegoats after scapegoats after scapegoats If there's a non-fascist political future in the US and the world, the coalition will include trans people, disabled people, people against the genocides and wars happening now, migrants, the poor, and the billions of ways humans just *are* and NOT by ceding ground to the bigots who hate us. We seem to need to learn this every century or so, maybe.
