So, according to this poll, 71 % of men are still Covid-conscious, and 84 % of non-men. Which is less of a difference than I expected, to be honest.
But on the other hand, I (somewhat intentionally) left open (at least to a degree) how people define "Covid-conscious".
Some interpret it as "I'm testing and masking even when visiting individual people", others as "I'm aware Covid exists, but rarely engage in any risk mitigation".

@scy@chaos.social "Have you worn a mask in the last month?" might be a good question. I also tend to describe it as protection against all respiratory diseases, not just Covid. Other viruses are available!

@scy@chaos.social I (f) am not testing unless I feel sick. But in my case, I have enough time between instances of meeting people for symptoms to develop and go away again... I do however mask whenever in public, because I also don't want the flu or whatever's going around at any one time. Also, diligent handwashing when coming from outside. So my reasoning isn't covid alone any more.
