Not really a solution specifically for a tiny screen like 8’’ but you could search the web for point-to-point wireless HDMI extenders and see if that is something that could work for you.

That would be a good option if latency doesn’t matter. If it does, then you would need one of the 60 GHz wireless HDMI adapters.
