@adrint@shitposter.world And incompetence/ignorance is far too often attributed to being malicious. Looking for malice where there is none achieves nothing. I can guarantee you that none of the people involved (who have actual stakes in it, at least) is/was acting in bad faith. The true problem, at least in my eyes, is that technical people generally think they are above humanities. But that doesn't necessarily involves any malice.
