@NoDoxGregBrady @AidanTTIerian @James_Dixon Clara's a Phase Connect vtuber with very good karaoke, an entertaining talk show with another Phase vtuber, and an entertaining playthrough of King's Quest. That + her father/daughter karaoke is what I'd recommend as an introduction. She stopped streaming months ago but caught attention recently due to an unusually venal company response to Jelly (yet another Phase vtuber) expressing mild exasperation at Minecraft releasing a whole DLC that's just some American Black History shit that a Chinawoman in Canada obviously doesn't care about at all. The harsh response to Jelly was incongruous with the (apparent) non-response to Clara not being able to restrain herself from joining the big crowd of braying ghouls to say something like "A political enemy got shot in the neck? Well I don't mind that." Se was virtue-signalling on a private account and right-wingers don't agree about the 'virtue', so naturally are pleased or at least don't care if she gets shitcanned for it. Something like "A political enemy got shitcanned? Well I don't mind that." Pretty and Good virtue-signalled IRL and were political enemies, and the right were also ghoulish about their deaths, so there are some connections. It's also a connection that all of these bad outcomes are downstream of both parties deliberately raising social tensions and provoking conflicts for cynical political advantage. There's no political power in the US that actually wants to avoid bad outcomes as a rule, and the response to a bad outcome is never "how can we stop this from happening again?" Not even political actors like Pretti had that response, not even for personal safety. "Should I maybe stop carrying the SIG self-firing gun while going around de-arresting protesters? ... Well, why not? That the pigs murdered Good so blatantly was actually good for our side!"
