@TrueNorthSpice@mastodon.world She's a joy! We'll never be able to meet (she lives in Tehran) but at least we can video chat. I've mentored her since she was just 14 (she asked me to teach her photography) and now she's a young woman of 27 with a University degree in chemical engineering who works in photography and graphic design. I couldn't be prouder of her. We are part of her whole family.
