Wenn die USA Linux einem Konzern zuordnet, wird das bei uns zwar durch das Wegfallen mancher US-Entwickler gewisse Einflüsse auf die Weiterentwicklung haben, da der Programmcode jedoch bekannt ist, hält das europäische Entwickler nicht davon ab, Linux weiterzuentwickeln. Entsprechend kann die USA auch keine "kill switches" o.ä. einzubauen.

Dann entwickeln die Europäer halt den Linuxkernel mal ebenso alleine weiter. Es wird gerade diskutiert was passiert wenn Linus mal nicht mehr ist. Ein Konklave solls richten. :-)
