I'm absolutely sure there are a zillion learned articles about all of this in Philosophy, or Neurophysiology, or whatever, but(!)... When I'm having that internal argument with myself about this thing that I may or may not 'want' to do, *who* is the 'me' that is arguing with the other me, and *who* is the 'other' one? I mean, all these voices presumably originate from this big ball of fat inside my skull. Are there, like, loads of them in there?! (And if, perchance, you happen to be an expert in this exact field, I (we?!) shall brace for a long thread!)
