@bloodravenlib@mas.to At first I was disappointed, but the more I think about it, the more fitting this seems. They wheeled out a near-corpse and did not allow journalists to take video in the Capitol. Nobody in McConnell's family stopped them. The Weekend at Bernie's jokes continue. Imagine showing this scene to these same people in the 90s, like the Ghost of Christmas Future. Mitch is not the only one who's an empty shell of a person, drinking humiliation down to its last dregs.
