kubernetes is one of those love/hate relationships but in the end the practicality and usefulness really wins for me over and over. it really clicked for me once I viewed it as a software developer's thing for software scheduling and there's some serious cool architecture hidden in it. k8s exposes "itself" in a manner only surpassed by databases it's exemplary with its meta-data (tagging, labeling is SO valuable) handling kubectl as a CLI is spectabular (could be better usuability tho)
